Cafe scene at Greensquare – The Grounds of Alexandria
The Grounds of Alexandria was opened less than a year ago but it is already well known by quite a few Sydneysiders. The pleasing fact for #Greensquare is that The Grounds sets a great benchmark for the cafes that will come to our ‘considerably’ new neighbourhood in the near future. We can expect to see more places with creative interior designs, focus on local produce (and even producing own food) and of course great food.
It is a creatively (and beautifully) decorated cafe with a relaxing garden. The Grounds have been elected as the best new cafe by Sydney Morning Herald only several months after its opening.
The bonus to all these is that they have a market on first Saturday of each month where they sell their own produce from the garden.
We would love to see many more innovative venues like ‘The Grounds’ in our neighbourhood!
